There will be 50 apartments on a 3.5 acre campus, plus a dining room, clubhouse, social gathering places, greenspace and other amenities tailored to the practical, social, and technological needs of residents.
Resident advisors with special needs education and experience will be present around-the-clock for care and support. Job training and on-campus job opportunities are also part of the plan. Transportation will be provided when necessary. Our community has waited a long time for something this special.
The architecture, interior and landscape of Indie Tree are designed with the utmost intention to be thoughtful, innovative, empowering. We are building to the WELL Building Standard®, a performance based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and wellbeing, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and mind. Disability technology will be utilized for safety and autonomy along with smart technology to foster independence. Energy partnerships will utilize green sustainable power.
